What can I bring along? As Horisont is a convention that wish to promote creativity rather than hinder it, then we have no special restrictions on what you can or can't bring. The only rule we as organizers have is: No unpainted figures. We see painting the figures as one of the key-stones in the hobby and think that this rule will heighten the experience for all participating in the convention. So, to set things in stone: No unpainted miniatures on any gaming tables! We know this may seem a bit harsh, but we think that it will contribute positively to the experience for all of us. So I can't bring along any unpainted miniatures? Of course you can! The rule of no unpainted figures only applies to the gaming tables. We will set up a small painting corner, where you can dabble paint all over your newly purchased miniatures. Maybe even get some hints and tips from some of the Danish "painting elite". It is suggested to bring along primers, brushes and paints if you wish to make use of this area. What is expected of me as a participant? The only thing we expect of you is, that you participate with an open mind. That and a desire to try out a lot of different games. We hope that you as a participant will bear in mind, that this is the first convention of its kind in Denmark and therefore there will be hiccups along the way. As mentioned in the general information, it is possible to join the convention Friday evening. As no games have been planned this day entertainment is at your own initiative - however we see it as a great opportunity to bring along some small games and to get to know the other participants over a beer or soft-drink. |
